THE SHORT STORY:
On 2/14/24, I went on a Live Stream on Instagram to share "3 Canciones" for anyone who wished to join and ended up doing about a 40 minute live set of Puros Rancheras.  I received a very kind and warm reception to the Solo concert.
So, here we are 🙌🏽

BACKGROUND:
Trumpet is my 3rd and main instrument, I've been playing 30+ years (began in 1991).
Guitar is my 2nd instrument, and I love the simplicity of "3 Chords and the Truth".
Piano was my 1st instrument, it was truthfully a 32 key mini keyboard that ran on batteries!
I taught myself how to play and read music using these awesome "Mickey Mouse" books! 
I've never had formal lessons until I began Trumpet at age 9 at Laurel Elementary School in Oceanside California.
All of my lessons were through the school systems, I've never taken private lessons.
Singing has always been fun.


HISTORY:
1987 - Began mini keyboard in my living room
1991  - Began Trumpet, age 9
1991 -  1996 - Trumpet @ Laurel Elementary, Jefferson Middle School
1996 - 2000 - 1st Trumpet, Soloist, Drum Major @ Oceanside High School
2000 - 2004 - 1st Trumpet, Singer: Mariachi Cardenal de Stanford @ Stanford University🏛️
2004 - 2024 - 1st Trumpet, Guitar, Vocals, Songwriter, Entertainer in my House 🏡
2024 - Present - Founder, Mariachi Solo De Aztlan

Why are you so expensive?
This is a passion project, a thing I do for fun, a side hustle, if you will...
I am actually a Medical Doctor Licensed in the state of California. As a Family Medicine Physician, I work at a major organization's clinics, do volunteer work, and run my own solo TeleMedicine practice (www.aztecawellness.com).
As such, my time is very valuable, and I could potentially be seeing patients during those times. But in case anyone would like a serenata from me personally, that's the pricing structure it has to be.
